    Was in town for a wedding and breakfast is my hubby's favorite meal of the day so I hopped on yelp and this place was one of the top selections. I told hubby to pick where we went and he chose Betsy's. After our meal it was clear he made the right choice!! Walked up and there was a line outside but thankfully they had a bar area (and we don't mind sitting at a bar) so we were able to sit down immediately. Service was great-staff was very nice!! Food was delicious!! Hubbys meal was the omelette and hash-browns and it came with pancakes so I ate those and ordered a side of Italian sausage and over medium eggs. The Italian sausage had amazing flavor and the pancakes were slightly fluffy with great flavor. If we were locals this would definitely be our go to spot!! Recommended!

    I have a lifelong competition with my brother to find the best chicken fried steak on the planet. When a friend told me that Betsy's had the best one he ever had I had to try it. The opportunity came when we found ourselves in Morgan Hill shopping at our favorite produce stands and wineries. I was told that my favorite, Chicken Fried Steak, was a hand tenderized New York steak topped with house made gravy. So many restaurants serve what appears to be a frozen breaded product and a pasty premade gravy. Scanning the menu I was also surprised to find the offered my wife's favorite house made corned beef hash. I ordered both. My wife chose hash brown potatoes and I chose the country potatoes. Both were good choices. My Chicken Fried Steak and gravy was as good as my home cooked version. My wife's corned beef hash plate is her new favorite. We will be back. One thing worth noting is that they close at 2PM. We got there at 1:30 PM but they we were not rushed when our food got there close to closing time.

    My friend & I were having brunch on Friday. She wanted to go to Mo's but I convinced her to come to Betsy's. 1. The food portions are awesome! It's definitely a great price for all of the food on the plate. 2. The coffee is always fresh & great. Free refills, anyone? :) 3. The busboys or people who bring the drink orders are so polite, sweet and friendly. Excuse my previous post. I was probably exhausted, & needed my coffee. 4. Their country potatoes are seriously some of the best! I told her she had to try them. I am currently obsessed with the #2 club sandwich because of the avocado. I went for a hike the other day & came starving. I ordered the Chorizo Pile & it was plenty! Def a great portion! :) I've been coming here for years and, regardless of time passing or new chains built in Morgan Hill, the food here tastes homemade and the place gives off homey vibes.
